Balloon Meeting at Tannheimer Tal

For the second time already, the modell balloons took part at the Balloon Meeting at Tannheim this year... however, on Saturday, the weather was no good at all. At first, strong winds made a launch impossible, and later it began to snow. Snowfall is better than wind, thought the model pilots and put up their balloons.

Andreas with the Panda and Matthias with the Penguin also braved the snowfall.

On Sunday, the weather was fine, and we could dry our wet balloon envelopes.

Matthias was again lucky enough to be invited for a flight with a big balloon.

The year before, we had had a wonderful flight out of the mountains - this year, we had to stay in the valley of Tannheim, as everything was covered with clouds outside.

Shadow play at touch down - after one hour of flight, we returned to the ground.

And then we were in for hard work - it is truly no picnic to pack Roland Gminder's 3000 m³ special shape, especially not in the snow ;-)

Anyway, thanks to the team for the nice flight!
