7th Balloon Meeting at Eglofs

As the year before, on the first weekend of May we visited the village of Eglofs, which lies between Isny and Wangen in the beautiful Allgäu. This year, we brought not only the model balloons, but a big balloon as well. Matthias had borrowed his training balloon from his ballooning school to do his first solo flight after his examination two weeks ago.

And though the weather forecast was not that good, we could actually fly on Friday and Sunday morning, which meant one flight for Basti and one for Matthias.

Nevertheless, we found enough time to fly our model balloons as well, on Friday afternoon, during the night glow on Friday evening and for the model balloon show on the market place on Saturday evening.
